Western Union is the Onion for wired services, yesterday it was Travellers Check and Slamon Brother., with it's fears it was also UBS and Bankers Trust. There was also VISA but the most enduring has been WU.
I beg to move that it is Eastern Union that is the money transfer exchange of choice, riven between Southern Europe, India and the SEA, Africa and by proxy, these new United States.
How well it teters under the rubric of WU is the extent we bring the rest of manking into the financial union of securities exchange and commission.
